Adolf Weibel is known for his work as a landscape painter. He continued his artistic studies in Paris, Karlsruhe and Basel, which undoubtedly may have influenced his approach to painting. Alongside his artistic career, he worked as a drawing teacher at several schools in Aarau.
From 1927 to 1941, he also served as curator of the art collection of the Canton of Aargau, thereby contributing to the preservation and appreciation of the local artistic heritage.
