Felix Ehrlich (1866–1931) was a German painter born in Berlin, where he also died, known for portraits and genre scenes. He studied at the Königsberg Academy under Carl Steffeck, becoming his master student in 1888. Subsequently based in Berlin, he was appointed court painter in 1896 and received commissions from imperial and official circles.
His sitters included Wilhelm II, Empress Augusta Victoria and Otto von Bismarck, alongside senior officials and officers. The National Museum in Kraków preserves a portrait of Augusta Victoria that documents this activity. Besides formal likenesses, he painted female portraits and genre subjects. His work also circulated through reproductions, contributing to the wider dissemination of images of public personalities who formed an important part of his repertoire.
