Charles-Albert Walhain (1877–1936), born in Paris and deceased in Neuilly-sur-Seine, was a French painter and sculptor of Belgian origin. He trained with Léon Glaize and then Léon Bonnat at the École des beaux-arts in Paris, specialising in portraiture. The patronage of Henriette of Belgium, Duchess of Vendôme, supported his career among the fashionable society of the Belle Époque and the 1920s.
He exhibited regularly at the Salon of the Société des artistes français and worked in Neuilly, establishing his studio on Boulevard Bineau. Alongside painted portraits, his sculpture included recumbent figures for the royal chapel at Dreux and religious commissions. He also contributed to war memorial projects, including the monument at Voussac. His career thus combines society portraiture, dynastic remembrance and public commemoration.
